THE JULY 13th DOWNTOWN LOS ANGELES ART WALK
LOS ANGELES

June 26th, 2017 –This July 13th, the Downtown Art Walk welcomes back Los Angeles-based Performing Arts Company, SOKAMBA, for a very special, one-night only performance and art exhibition. Set to the theme of “Look Again”, SOKAMBA’s interactive installation will lead patrons to ask the question: “What more can we learn by taking another look and, more importantly, what might we have missed the first time around?” Through the use of compelling visual art, interactive installation pieces, and a series of live performances and spoken word, Art Walkers will have the chance to discover not only something new in the art, but in each other and themselves. Taking place from 6 to 10pm at the Downtown Art Walk Lounge, located at 634 S. Spring Street, this unique, interactive experience will expose visitors to an integral faction of the Downtown art world: performance.

Participating galleries for this month’s Downtown Art Walk event include: Avenue des Arts Gallery, The Main Museum, The Fine Arts Building, Ren Gallery, Gloria Delson Contemporary Arts Gallery, The Hive,The Spring Arts Collective, Little Tokyo Art Complex, El Playground Gallery and Lobby Gallery.
