VISIT

VISIT. EXPLORE. GET INSPIRED

The galleries, artist studios, and cultural institutions of the Historic Core and beyond form a colorful, vibrant community, and have provided free cultural experiences to the public for over 16 years.

Due to the effects of the Covid-19 shutdown, what is known as the “Art Walk” public art event is evolving. The remaining Downtown area galleries are open to the public and welcome your visit any time during regular business hours. For info on currently active Downtown galleries, visit the Galleries page. Please be advised that we are not affiliated with any street vending or food trucks.

WANT A GUIDED TOUR?

The Downtown Los Angeles Art Walk offers a limited series of ticketed, guided tours of select galleries based on demand. Click here for more information.

GALLERY/STUDIO HOURS

Regular gallery hours typically run Tuesday through Saturday, 11am to 5pm.

Although we do our best to collect accurate information, galleries are small independent businesses, and their hours may vary. Use our Galleries page to connect directly with the local spaces for more information.

PARKING

Parking can be found throughout the area at pay lots or public meters. Check all posted signs for parking restrictions before leaving your vehicle.
